Party in the R.O.K.

Melon class rocked their kicks and performed Miley Cyrus’s homage to the Founding Fathers, “Party in the U.S.A.” It was an outstanding performance, one that earned them pizza for today’s lunch, but they could have done even better had stage fright not taken hold of a few of them. I should have recorded some practice sessions when they really shined. There’s always next month… when my class will bloat to 11 students.

I must give a special thanks and shout-out to Baloo and Frank for inspiring the dance moves during the chorus. If it weren’t for the nights in your attic with “Party and Bullshit in the U.S.A.” and the biggest possible pepperoni pizzas, this masterpiece may have never been realized.

Now to choose the song for April…
